Mrs. Delia Hale Passas Away
Mrs. Delia S. Hale, 86, resident of Remington the greater part of her lifetime, passed away at 6 a.m. Monday at St. ELizabeth hospital, Lafayette, where she had been a patient since June 21.
Mrs. Hale was born in White county May 9, 1882. She was deudcated in White county schools and was married to James Hale in 1910. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hale was a member of the Remington Methodist church and Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Blume of Reynolds and Mrs. David Reed of Lafayette; a son, Charles W. Hale of Covins, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Banea and Mrs. Ella Baxter of Remington and Mrs. Hazel Palmer of Frankfort; two brothers, Louis N. Sharkey of Remington and Joseph SHarkey of Norway; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held at the Stitz funeral home, Remingotn at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. David Barnett officiating. Interment was to be in Remington cemetery.
