Philip J. Affleck. [Special Dispatch to the Baltimore Sun} Winchester, Va., Jan 27 - Mr. Philip James Affleck, a prominent business man of Beryville, died last
night from cancer of the stomach, aged 87 years. He was a native of Winchester, a son of the late Alexander Affleck. For 20 years he had been a member of the agricultural implement firm of Pulliam & Affleck, Berryville. He served in the Confederate Army. Surviving him are his widow, two sons, Mr. Philip J. Affleck, of Washington, D.C. and Mr. Robert S. Affleck, of Clarksburg, W.Va. Two sisters-Mrs. James McKerricher of Washington and Miss Fanny Affleck of Winchester-and two brothers Messrs Scott A. and John Affleck of Winchester also survive him.
