WINSTON-SALEM - Mrs. Linda A. Attucks, a native of Mt. Airy, NC, was born to the late Robert and Daisy Smith. She was called home October 28, 2010 after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Spiritual Choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eugene Attucks, Jr.; and sisters, Helen France and Mary Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Eugene Attucks, Sr.; daughters, Vanessa, Phyllis, Casaundra, Yvette, Jennifer, and Marie; grandchildren, Jessica, O'Keith, Gabrielle, Gillian, Madolyn, and Mallory; sisters, Dorothy McCollum and Betty France; brothers, Robert Smith, Jr. and Grady Smith; sons-in-law, Joe Smith and Marle March; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was known for her loving and generous heart and she will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Dr. John Mendez officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Church. (RUSSELL)
