Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Hines, Willow Springs community, were held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Hassell and Foster Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Bennett Stuart of Brownsboro officiated. Interment was in the City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hines, a resident of Willow Springs community since 1909, was born in Franklin County and moved to Henderson County in 1902. She was married to W.H. Hines in 1897. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hines is survived by her husband, W.H. Hines; three sons, Albert of Denison, Stonewall of Tyler and William of Cleveland, Ohio; three daughters, Mr. B.C. Lewis of Tyler, Mrs. Byron Russell of Tyler and Miss Edith Hines of Athens; four brothers, J.L. Barr, W.P. Barr, Lonnie Barr and Scott Barr; three sisters, Miss Carrie Lucille Barr, Mrs. Molly Cothran and Mrs. Verdie Trammell; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He pallbearers were nephews and grandsons.
