He died Saturday in a Topeka hospital. He was born October 30, 1897, at Ozawkie, Kansas and lived in Topeka since 1944. He was a painter and was the president of Painters Union Local No.96. In this office he had served one year of the three year term. He is survived by his wife Goldie Lister Harden of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Loretta Murray 309 Courtland, Mrs. Lola Patton of Walla Walla, Washington, and Mrs. Marcella Coffman, 2820 Iowa; four sons Orval W. Harden, 132 N. Quinton, Robert L. Harden of Rossville, Ova Henry Harden of Route 2 and Wilbur Dale Harden 628 Sumner, a step-son Homer Colter, 132 Van Bren; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
