Nora Estella Nepper, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Heisler, was born August 8, 1889 at Mapleton. She resided in the Mapleton community for her entire life. She and her husband farmed in this area for many years and retired and moved into the town of Mapleton in about 1945. Nora was married to Clyde Nepper on January 16, 1907 at Mapleton.
She was a member of the Methodist Church in Mapleton. She was a past member of the Rebekah Lodge at Mapleton and was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Mrs. Nepper died on Friday, December 12, 1969 at a Mapleton Nursing Home and having reached the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 4 days.
Survivors include 1 daughter: Mrs. Robert (Elaine) Ellis of Omaha, Nebraska, 1 son Frank of Correctionville, 3 grandchildren and several great grandchildren,. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 daughter, parents, 1 sister and 7 brothers.
Pallbearers were E. LeFebvre, Albert Dorale, Hans Miller, Joseph Koenigs, F.L. Hedrick and Donald Muckey.
Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Mapleton.
