75, of Springfield, passed away at 3:15 a.m. Thursday in Mercy St. John's Center. She was born August 7, 1926 in Middletown, Ohio, a daughter of Arthur and Arenna Winston. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Kay Lawrence; her daughter, Patsy "Dody" Brown, all of Springfield; five grandchildren, Deena Chisolm, Anthony Lawrence II, Kelly Brown, Michael Jason Brown and James B. Lawrence, Sr.; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Lily Lyons, Jeanne Foster and Unita Lawrence and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brooks Lawrence; three brothers, Harold, Arthur and Uriais Winston; three sisters, Lenore Burton, Janet Winston and Beatrice Lacy. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2002 in the ROBERT C. HENRY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
