Barbara Jean Knoll, 80, of Hoopeston died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

She was born Jan. 7, 1930 in Danville to Paul and Thelma Terrell Mayhew. She was preceded in death by her parents. She married Otto Knoll Jr. on Jan. 7, 1951 in Prairie Green near Wellington. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, David (Diane) Knoll of Urbana and Kim (Dana) Knoll of rural Hoopeston; one daughter, Jo (Philip) Alt of rural Hoopeston; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
