Roy Chilson went to Buford, Arkansas, and had the body of Mrs. Chilson's father, Mr. Wm. Watts, disinterred and brought back for burial in the Oberlin Cemetery beside the body of Mrs. Watts.
William Watts died March 2, 1924 in Buford, Baxter County, Arkansas. He had been making his home with his son, William A. Watts at the time of his death.
During the Civil War Wm. W. Watts served with Company A 51st Infantry Indiana Volunteers.
William W. Watts was married to Hannah Pinkney on May 15, 1874. To this union were born three sons and two daughters.
The burial was in the Oberlin Cemetery June 13th. Mrs. Chilson went as far as Buffalo, Missouri, and visited a brother, while Mr. Chilson went on to Buford.
