Finette R. (Potter) Hitchcock was the only daughter of Lyman and Finette R. C. Potter, She was the 1st wife of Rev. Julius Charles Hitchcock. They were married Gates, New York July 9, 1861. Rev. Hitchcock was a minister in the East Genesee Conference, Genesee Conference and Central New York Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He died April 30, 1927.
