Archie L. Williams Sr., 76, died Sunday at Effingham County Nursing Home after a short illness.
He was born in Bulloch County and was employed by Great Dane Trailers for 40 years. He was a member and head usher of Bloomingdale Alliance Church and the Pooler-Bloomingdale Senior Citizens.
Surviving are his wife, Florence Yeomans Williams of Faulkville; three sons, Clifford E. and Archie L. Williams Jr., both of Swainsboro and Jim R Williams of Brooklet; three stepsons, Gary Yeomans of Macon, Danny Yeomans of Pooler
and Randy Yeomans of Savannah; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bloomingdale Alliance Church, burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
