Nathaniel Clinton Beasley, 77 of Bloomingdale died Sunday, September 19, 1976 at Memorial Medical Center, after a long illness.

He was born in Soperton, but had lived in Chatham County for the past 25 years and was a member of the Holy Church of God. He was retired from the maintenance department of the City of Savannah.

Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Anna Rushing of Bloomingdale and Mrs. Lucy Smith of Winter Haven Florida; a son Clifford Beasley of Savannah, two brothers Albert and John Beasley of Soperton; four sisters, Mrs. Walter Morris of Savannah, Mrs. Alma Scarborough of Soperton, Mrs. Leon Durden of Wrightsville, and Mrs. Nattie Michiew of Hazlehurst; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 21 at the Fountain Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
