He married Dorothy Knutzen May 8, 1949, in Akron. He was a sheet-metal mechanic and mechanical inspector for Aurora. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Linda Garofallou of Montclair, N.J.; a son, Jerry of Denver; his mother, Lucille Anderson of Mission, Texas; two sisters, Pat Kerns of Mission, Texas, and Barb Oliver of Keene, Texas; and three granddaughters.
