Edna Davison, 88, Pleasant Mills, died suddenly at 8 p.m. Friday at home.
She was born on August 19, 1907 in Adams County to Cordon and Louisa Christener Rayl and married Albert J. "John" Davison on August 31, 1935. He died on May 16, 1978.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Mills United Methodist Church, the Decatur Garden Club, the Pleasant Mills Lions Club, and the St. Mary's Township Home Economics Club. She was also a 50-year member of chapter 625 of the Women of the Moose in Decatur.
Surviving are a niece, Linda Hedington, Monroe, and a nephew, David Franklin, Fort Wayne. Deceased are a sister, Lina Franklin, and four brothers, Frank, Max, Richard, and Thurman Rayl.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 Tuesday in Zwick-Sefton and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, with burial in Pleasant Mills Cemetery. Visiting hours are until 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Preferred memorials are to the church.
