He was the son of Emilie Trosclair and the late Alcide Fabre and the brother of Mrs Stella Fabre Brown of Los Angeles, California, Mrs Theresa Fabre Foltz of New Orleans and Fernand and Marguerite (Maggie) Fabre. Services were at St Peter Church, Reserve, Louisiana, with interment in St Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
