The following information was from the Obituary provided by Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75228 for Jessie Dee Boyd Wilson on 05 Oct. 2010 :

"Jessie Dee Wilson, 96 went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2010. She was born September 12, 1914 near Terrell, TX to Lillian Pearl Hunt and Homer Lee Boyd. She married James Rufus Wilson Sr. on August 21, 1930. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker and friend. Jessie was a talented seamstress and she made beautiful quilts. She loved to read, travel and dance. She was a member of Eastridge Park Christian Church for 17 years.

Jessie is preceded in death by her husband, James Rufus Wilson Sr. and son, James R. Wilson Jr. She was survived by her brother, Donald Boyd and five of her children and their spouses. Jean and Bob McKinney, Jo and Craig Marion, Juanita Smith, Wayne and Debbie Wilson, Danny and Debbie Wilson. She has 20 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Mom, you will be dearly missed by all of us who knew and loved you.

Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the funeral home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2010 in the Grove Hill Serenity Chapel. Interment followed at Grove Hill Memorial Park."
