FREDONIA, KY - Funeral services for Denver Patton, 86, were March 13, 2006, at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Rev. Lonnie Knight and Rev. Donnie Howton officiated the ceremony. Burial was at Dycusburg Cemetery.

Mr. Patton died March 11, 2006, at Crittenden Hospital. He was a farmer and a World War II Army Air Corp veteran and a member of Seven Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Lola Mae Doom Patton; two sons Marlin Patton and Randel Hardin, both of Fredonia; three daughters, Kay (Allen) Phillips of Versailles, Brenda (Sammy) Pollard of Dawson Springs, and Donna (Russell) Martin of Princeton; three sisters, Estalee Zollinger of Corydon, Ella Mae Mitchell of Paducah, and Bonnie Joiner of Lyon County; a brother, Ollie Patton of Crittenden County; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Wayne Hardin, Mickey Travis, and Jana Sigler; a great-granddaughter, Jessica Cummings, and by his parents, Ollie "Guy" Patton and Lois McKinney Patton.
