Jefferson married Angeline Harbison November 30, 1854 in Talladega County, Alabama. She was the daughter of John Harbison, who was born about 1793 in North Carolina and died Feb. 7, 1877 in Clay County, Alabama. John Harbison's will and estate was probated in that county naming his wife and children. His wife Jane, whose maiden name is unknown, died in 1870 as found on the Mortality Schedule for Clay County, Alabama. Daughter Angeline is listed in estate record as "wife of Jeff Blackstock".
Jefferson Blackstock died intestate, but his estate was probated with his son-in-law, J. R. Cole, filing administration petition Jan. 31, 1893. Angeline was still alive in Clay County, Alabama, as of Jan. 22, 1895 when she received her portion of the final distribution from the estate.
