In 1981, she moved to Berthoud, and in 1984 she moved to Sacramento, Calif., to help her sister Ruth care for her husband. In 1987, May moved back to Colorado, settling in Brush, where she lived until her death.
Mrs. Archer was an active volunteer at LifeBridge Christian Church, teaching vacation Bible school and Sunday school, and was a member of the Friendly Folks at the church. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing and loved to camp, fish, travel and spend time with her family. May was always able to make friends everywhere she went.
