Mrs. Lida Williamson, 90, widely-known Muncie woman, died early Tuesday morning at her home, 1928 W. Jackson St., after an illness of four months. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Sarah Deal and was a native of Parker, coming here about 1885.
She was the widow of Otto Williamson. Prior to her marriage in 1887, Mrs. Williamson was associated with the Brattain-Shidler Clothing Store on Walnut Street. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Madeline Smith of Renssalaer and Mrs. Gertrude Tuhey of Muncie; one sister, Mrs. Olive Jones of Ronan, Mont.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Ann Thomas of Rensselaer, and a great-grandson, James Bryan Thomas.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Meeks Mortuary at 11 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. David Glenn Walker. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday or any time prior to the services Thursday.
