Mr. Harris served in the U.S. Air Force. He lived the majority of his life in Macon Georgia. "Leroy" worked for the school system and belonged to Reagan Masonic Lodge NO.1037. He had memberships in the First United Methodist Church, and the American Legion Post NO.478.
In 1945 he married Agnes Minnie (Janke) Willenborg.
Survivors include: his wife, stepson Louis J. Willenborg, brother J.W. Harris, four sisters Thelma Harris, Mabel Kitchens, Jannette Barfield, and Lillian Coco and 2 grandchildren Karen and Susan Willenborg.
