Marceline Dickinson Passes Away
Mrs. Marceline (Parks) Dickinson, 37, died at the Jasper county hospital, Rensselaer, at 1:45 p.m. Monday, following an extended illness.
She was born in Lafaytte, and married Harold Dickinson in Wolcott, August 21, 1932. She was a member of the Griggs Memorial Methodist church, Goodland.
Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Ann of Goodland, and Sue of Fort Sheridan, Illinois; three sons, Dean and Eric of Goodland and Alan of Mishawaka; her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Beal of Rensselaer, and one sister, Mrs. Manette Grant of Goodland.
Funeral services were conducted at the Griggs Memorial Methodist church in Goodland on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial in the Remington cemetery.
Mrs. Dickinson was the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Sharkey of Remington, and was well-known here where she had many friends. She had been ill for several months at the home of her parents before being confined to Rensselaer hospital.
