Thelma Rea Wade, age 77, passed away Friday, September 17, 2010, in Tallahassee, Fla. She was born and raised in Apalachicola, Fla., and lived in Tallahassee for many years. She lived in Panacea, Fla,. for the past seven years and was a member of the Panacea First Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Glen Herrin, Gary Herrin, and Timothy Herrin; and two daughters, Katie Kelley and Betty Lahtinen. She has twenty grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, George Herrin, Robert Herrin Jr., and Thomas Mathis. The funeral services will be held Monday, September 20, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Tallahassee.
