Obituary for Cecilia Nacke (Stone) Rieth

Memorial Mass for Cecilia Nacke (Stone) Rieth, 99, will be April 17 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Harrington, Wash. Interment will be at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Harrington. Strate Funeral Home, Davenport is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rieth, who was born in Teutopolis, Ill., died March 23 at the Serene Meadows Adult Family Home in Davenport.

In 1908 the family moved to Cottonwood, Idaho, where she graduated from Cottonwood High School.

She obtained a teaching certificate from Lewiston Normal School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho.
Mrs. Rieth taught school in Kooskia, Cottonwood and Ferdinand, Idaho, and in Harrington, Wash.

In 1935 she married Robert Stone. He died in 1965.
She married Francis Rieth. After his death in 1976 she continued to reside in Harrington.

In 2001 she moved to San Carlos, Calif., to live with her daughter until her death.

Survivors include a son, Robert Stone of Ellicott City, Md.; three stepchildren, Louise Smith of Harrington, Mary Guske of Moscow, Idaho, and Robert Rieth of Harrington; two grandsons and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
