Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9 am at St. Rose Churchwith Father Bernard Westerman officiating, burial was made in Beaver Creek Cemetery under the direction of Kabeiseman-Nelson Funeral home of Yankton.
The rosary was said on Thursday and Friday evenings at the Tramp home at 7:30 o'clock.
Frank Tramp was born on the Ferdinand Tramp homestead in the communitywhere he spent all of his life. He and Anna Witte were married May 9, 1895. He was preceded in death by his wife, who died in 1941, and two children, Ignatius, who drowned in the Missouri River in October of 1945, and Mrs. Leonard Hoesing, who died in March of 1949.
Surviving are nine children, Peter, Herman, Louis, and Mrs. Henry (Rose)Lockman of Crofton, Bernard and Mrs. Paul (Delores) Goeden, Yankton,Helen, South Sioux City, Mrs. A.V. Coe (Leona), Sioux City, and Sr. M. Audrey, OSB, Yankton; 9 brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ed Feldhacker, and Albert of Crofton, Mrs. Frank Albrecht, Mrs. Theodore Albrecht, and Mrs. George Kollars, Yankton, Mrs. Leo Meier and Mrs. Rudolph Meier, Hartington, Fred, Fordyce and Paul; forty grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
