IPAVA: Wanda W. Averill, 61, of Ipava died at 10:17 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 1987, in Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
Born August 24, 1926, in Fulton County to Ralph and Edith Beam Parr, she married Henry F. Averill April 16, 1955, in Canton, IL.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Arthur of Springfield; three daughters, Edith Averill of Ipava, Yvonne White of Abingdon and Patricia Wetzel of Rock Springs, Wyoming; seven grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence "Jack" Parr of Vermont; and two sisters, Nelda Herriford of Ipava and Flossie Danner of Adair. One brother preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lewistown, IL, where services were held Monday. The Rev. Robert E. Reynolds officiated, and burial was in Maryville Cemetery, Bryant, IL.
