Byron Henry West, 90, died November 15, 2001 in American Fork. He was born June 30, 1911 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to David Waldemar and Elva Vilate Adams. He married June Carol Hudson June 22, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died March 8, 1994.
Byron served a mission in Oklahoma, Nebraska and Arkansas. He served in WWII as a Corporal in the Army Air Corp. He and his wife taught Sunday school at the State Training school for several years. He loved to dance and sing and while attending BYU, he sang in the Men's Chorus.
He is survived by two sisters: Nell (Wells) Sanders, and Madge (Bill) Tatum; two brothers: Burt (Jean) West, and Harvard (Audrey) West; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded n death by brothers and sisters: Ross (Edith) West, Ruby (Earl) Hawkins, LaVarda (Clarence) Hurst, and Thelma (Morgan) Boley.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 19, in the American Fork 6th Ward. Interment was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
