Lapel Jan 5 - Samuel F Mills, 74, died Thursday at the Hamilton County Hospital, Noblesville.
The body was brought to the Fisher Brothers Funeral home here and later removed to the residence where friends may call.
Mr. Mills was born in Madison Co. and spent his entire life in the vicinity of Lapel. He was a member of the IOOF lodge here. His wife, Jane, died in 1947
Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs Jesse Swadley, Iowa; Mrs Catherine Swadley of Lapel;and Mrs Blanche Heiny of Noblesville, one son, James Mills of Noblesville, two brothers, William Mills of Oklahoma and Clem Mills of Illinois.
Services will be held at the funeral home Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. David Hancock and the Rev Charles Mills in charge. Burial will be in Brookside cemetery.
