Mayfleld, Ky, Aug. 4. -- (Special) -- Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lookofsky, South Sixth street, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sofia, to Mr. Charles Kodner, of St. Louis, the marriage to take place on Sunday evening, August 12, at 5 o'clock. The ceremony will be spoken in the Jewish Orthodox Old Folks Home, St. Louis. Following the honeymoon trip the young couple will be at home at 2901 Dickson street, St. Louis.
Mr. Kodner is a prominent business man of St. Louis and conducts a pharmacy.
The bride-to-be Is a graduate of Mayfleld high school, class of '28.
On Thursday afternoon of this week, a linen shower was given in her honor at the Lookofsky home on South Sixth street.
