Brotherton was born May 8, 1928, in Los Vegas.
She worked as a taxi driver in Las Vegas for 20 years. She moved to this area from Las Vegas in 1988.
Brotherton enjoyed fishing, computers and traveling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include three sons, John and Clayton Looney, both of Eugene, and E.R. Looney of Nevada; a sister Mollie Bensko of Medford; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. A son David died in 1988.
Chapel of Memories Funeral Home of Eugene is in charge of the arrangements.
