Norman Floyd Adamson, 65, of Olathe, KS, passed away April 3 2003, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Olathe at 11 a.m. A visitation will be held Monday the 7th from 6-8 p.m. including a Rosary recitation at 7 p.m. at The Amos Family Chapel of Lenexa. Burial Resurrection Cemetery.
Norman was born March 9, 1938, in Indianapolis, IN. He proudly served his country for 10 years as a United States Marine. Norman had been a resident of the Kansas City area for 30 years and is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; his stepdaughter, Sharon Cope, Burlingame, KS; three stepsons, Troy Shanks and his wife, Chris of Odessa, MO, David Shanks and his wife, Tina of Olathe, KS, and Samuel Shanks of Independence, MO; and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Donna Kenworthy, Lois Curtis and Joann Mitcher and her husband, Ron, all of Indiana. Norman was a loving husband, father, grandfather and teacher and an inspiration to many. He will be greatly missed.
