Marjorie was born Oct. 21, 1925, in Greeley County to Henry and Addie (Gillham) Nestor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen "Steve" J. Reiter.
Survivors are: sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Casey Reiter of Dahlonega, Ga., and Steve and Debbie Reiter of Corpus Christi; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Rick Stever of Gainesville, Ga., Maureen and Tom Spelts, Colleen and Larry Bray, all of Columbus, Dee and Phillip Cagle of Gainesville; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Marge graduated from Spalding Public High School in 1942. She later furthered her education receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from UNL in 1967 and Masters of Education from Texas A&I in 1972.
On Oct. 2, 1948, Marge was united in marriage to Stephen John "Steve" Reiter at Spalding.
The couple made their home in Spalding where she was a teacher at several rural schools in the Spalding area, a 4-H leader, and a writer for the Spalding Enterprise.
She and her husband also owned and operated a fuel delivery service in Spalding until moving to Corpus Christi, Texas in 1971.
Marge continued to teach in Corpus Christi until her retirement in 1985.
Marge was active in bridge clubs and was also involved in writing a weekly column in the Grand Island Independent during the 1950's called "Over the Coffee Cup." She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching sports. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
