Edna Augusta Matthews Shepherd,
age 92, of West Valley City, Ut.
pasted away May 7, 1985 at the home
of her son Todd Matthews Shepherd.
She was born Dec 13, 1892, in Liberty,
Idaho to Samuel and Annie Esther Kennington
Matthews.
On Nov. 27, 1929 she married George Edward
Shepherd in the Logan LDS Temple.
He preceded her in death March 19, 1947.
As a member of the LDS Church Edna
was very active auxiliary organizations
for many years while living in Liberty
and later in Montpelier, Idaho.
Shortly after her husbands deaths
she became employed by Nielsen
furniture company in Montpelier
where she worked about fifteen years.
When her health began to fail,
eighteen years ago, she-moved to
Granger, "Utah, "now "West Valley"
City,
She is survived by sons, J. Farrell
Shepherd Of Qgden. Utah, who with
his wife Lois is serving in the Edinburgh,
Scotland Mission; William
G., Fresno, California; Todd M.
West Valley City' daughter in law Julia S Nye.
Montpelier.
