Obit: Laura F. Peek
Laura F. Peek, 84, of 916 W. Colorado Ave., died Friday, March 12, 1993.
Services will be at 11 a. m. Tuesday in Primitive Baptist Church with R. A. Tindall, elder, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Chapel of Schooler-Gordon- Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Fifth and Pierce St.
Mrs. Peek, born in Floyd County, moved to Amarillo in 1941. She was a homemaker and a member of Primitive Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Peek, in 1983.
Survivors include a grandson, Charles "Chuck" Maxwell of Atlanta; six sisters, Mintie Hall of Hereford, Virgie Leatherman of Millsap, Pernie Leatherman of Floydada, Bernice Lewis of Collinsville, Oleta Elkins of Amarillo and Dovie Mallow of Plainview; a brother, J. A. Donathan of Wildorado; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 1535 Parr St. and requests memorials be to St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center.
