Champion of Weatherford, a self-employed heavy duty mechanic, died 21 Aug 1996 at a Weatherford hospital. He was 92. Funeral services were held Fri., 23 Aug at the First United Meth. Church in DeLeon with burial at Downing Cem. near Comanche. Survivors include his dau., Donna Mae Holder-Springtown; sisters: Thelma Sadberry, Ora Shupp & Ola Mae Wittie.
