Bertha M. Breighner. 89, of 2075 Scotland Road, Chambersburg, formerly of Gardners, Gettysburg, and Allentown, died Thursday morning, Feb. 7, at the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was the wife of the Melvin L. Breigner who died in 1953.
Born Dec. 8, 1901, in Littlestown, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mary E. Stavely Hook.
She was a music teacher and tough piano in the Gardners and Gettysburg areas for many years.
She is survived by one daughter, Eutha C. Roper of Allentown; one son, Donald L. Breighner of Paradise, Calif.; one sister, Golda H. Collins, Gettysburg; two grandchildren; and one great grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Dugan Funeral Home in Bendersville, with the Rev. Douglas Y. Boden officiating.
Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg.
