New Orleans - Funeral services for Neva Leger Moore was held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday in All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel in New Orleans, Louisiana with the burial in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, Louisiana.

The Rev. Courville, St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Krotz Springs, Louisiana conducted the services.

Neva a retired elemetary school teach and a retired Eucharist Catholic Minister, died Sunday, August 4, 2002. She lived in Chateau de Notre Dame apartments, New Orleans, since July 1, 1990.
Neva was born in Krotz Springs, Louisiana on July 27, 1912. She graduated from Natchitoches State Teachers College, Natchitoches, then obtained an additional degree from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama.
She taught school in Louisiana for many years, then married Samuel Carl Moore, a hydraulic engineer. They lived for 43 years in Montgomery, Alabama. After Carl died, she moved to New Orelans, Louisina because her only daughter, Marie Antoinette Moore, her husband, William Andrus Just, and her grandsons, Samuel Andrew and William Moore Just, live in New Oreleans. She taught school in the Catholic elementary schools and in the public schools of Louisiana and Alabama for 30 years.
