Mr. Clopton was born Dec. 10, 1924 at Springfield. He was an engineer for a Tulsa, Okla., televisions station for 22 years. Before that he was a radio announcer in Fort Scott, Kan., for several years. He was a member of Rolling Hills Christian Church in Tulsa, Okla., the Inola Lions Club and the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Oklahoma.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Virginia Clopton, and a son, Dewey Clopton, of the home.
