SANDY RUN - Services for Annie Laurie Ackerman Kelley , 87, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Beulah United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Michael Smith and the Rev. Alice Linder, with burial in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bishopville at 4 p.m. Family will receive friends at the home of Robert and Judy Leach in Gaston. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge.
Mrs. Kelley , widow of Henry Thornwell Kelley , died Wednesday, August 22, 2001. Born in Colleton Co., she was a daughter of the late Geroge Edwin and Laurie Smoak Ackerman. Formerly of Bishopville, she had been a local resident for 30 years and was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church in Sandy Run.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law of Gaston; sisters of Rock Hill and of Bolton, N.C.; granddaughter and her husband of Marion; and great-granddaughters.
