Baptist Signal, November 17, 1898:

(His mother Leanne died the same day)

LEAN (sic) ALCORN was born in Jackson County, Kentucky, died near Burnett, Oklahoma, on September 16, 1898, aged 75 years and 11 months. She had been a Baptist 60 years, lived a humble Christian life, and was loved by all who knew her.
She leaves an aged husband and a large family of children and a host of friends to mourn, but their loss is her gain. The writer has often seen her rejoice and praise God.
Her son, J. W. Alcorn, died the same day about the same time his mother died. They were both buried at the same time and same place, at New Prospect Church, of which they were both members.
Brother J. W. Alcorn was born in Jackson County, Kentucky, was 51 years of age, had been a member 12 years of the Baptist Church. He leaves a wife and a large family of children.
May God bless and comfort the bereaved ones is the prayer of the writer.
G. W. HERRINGTON

I believe he is buried next to his mother, Leane (Rogers) Alcorn. There is some kind of marker next to her, but it does not have any inscription. Searched the rest of the cemetery and did not locate any other possible marker for him.
