Nick is the son of Thomas & Susan Catherine(Caty) Limpaugh Bringle. Nick's first wife was Margaret Billings. Their children were George David Lafayette Bringle, James Thomas Bringle, Mary Margaret Bringle, Sally Anne, Peter Albert Bringle, and William Henry Bringle.

Nick's second wife was Sara Bringle.
