YOUTH ROBS HOME, IS KILLED BY TRAIN
SHELBYVILLE, Indiana June 17 – Attempting to escape after having looted a farm house near Rushville early Sunday morning, William Bane, 25, of that city, was crushed under the wheels of a freight train at about 3:00 o'clock Sunday morning.
Authorities linked Bane with the robbery of the farm home of Mrs. Dave Sloan through a gunny sack full of household furnishings found near the mangled body.
The youth is survived by the parents, four sisters, and three brothers.
