Emma Carr
Married Robert Carr in 1879 at age 18 (He was 14 years her senior) At his death in 1901 she never remarried and managed to do quite well on what Robert had put away and the Widowed Mothers pention that her son Harry got for her upon his death in 1918 while fighting with the AEF in France. Emma Passed away peacefully in her sleep of old age at age 74
The Photo is from the Car Family and is a Tinted Tin Type of the two of them some time in the 1890s
The Photo of the Family Grave stone was taken in Sept. 2001 and the other two photos show what the Gold Hill NV City Cemetery looks like today.

Suggested edit: Her maiden name was Laity not Sundstrom. Her daughter, Ethel Carr, married Ralph Clarence Sundstrom on 13 Jun 1909 in Carson City.
Emma was the daughter of John Faull Laity and his wife, Elizabeth Jane Trevarthan. She was baptized on 11 Aug 1862 in Crowan, Cornwall. She arrived on 9 Aug 1870 on the City of Brooklyn with her mother and siblings. Her father had preceded them and appears on the 1870 US Census in Gold Hill with his 1st cousin James Laity. Emma's mother died in 1875 in Gold Hill and her father died on 29 Dec 1897 in Calumet, Michigan. Her father married a twice widowed woman, Annette (nee Crawford) in Gold Hill and they had 6 children.
Emma married Robert Carr on 3 Sep 1879 in Gold Hill.
