Clyde Barnett, 86, of Anna, died Monday, Jan. 1, 1989 at Union County Nursing Home in Anna. Mr. Barnett, a native of Massac County, was a former aide at Anna State Hospital. He was a member of Ozark Baptist Church. His parents were James H. and Viola Thompson Barnett.
Four brothers, Roy, Ray, Louis and Morris Barnett, and two also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Simmons Barnett; a brother, Armon Barnett of Karnak; three sisters, Essie Lockett of Karnak; Pearl Moore of Midland, Texas and Iona Griffey of Metropolis.
Funeral service was Thursday at Whitnel Funeral Home in Vienna with Rev. Gerald Bethard officiating. Burial followed in Robinson Cemetery in Ozark.
