MRS. T. W. WOLF, 74 PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Ethel Leda Wolf, wife of Dr. T. W. Wolf, retired Carthage osteopathic physician, died suddenly about 7:30 p.m. yesterday at the family home in Brooklyn Heights. She would have been 74 years old today.

Dr. Wolf said he and Mrs. Wolf planned to attend services last night at the First Baptist Church. He called to her, when he was ready to leave, and when Mrs. Wolf did not answer, he looked through the house and found her lying on the kitchen floor.

Mrs. Wolf had been writing greetings to two friends whose birthdays also fall on June 10, and after showing them to her husband, went into the kitchen, where Dr. Wolf found her dead.

Mrs. Wolf was born June 10, 1889 in Scotland county Missouri. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Allen. She and Dr. Wolf were married December 25, 1910 in Memphis, Scotland County seat. They came to Carthage that year and lived in the city until October 1949 when they moved to Brooklyn Heights.

She was a member of the First Baptist church, the Woman's Missionary Union, the Pipe Organ Society and of the Brooklyn Heights Extension Club.

Surviving in addition to the husband are two daughter, Mrs. Leda June Schaeffer of Youngtown, Arizona
Mrs. Mary Frances Munce of Kansas City

a brother;
Ross Allen of Elbert, Colorado

two sisters;
Mrs. Beulah Davison of Milton, Iowa and
Mrs. Stella Lough of Memphis, Missouri

two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren

Mrs. Munce went to Cambridge, Massachusetts to attend commencement exercises at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where her son, Gerald Wayne Scott, was a member of the graduating class. She is expected to return tonight to Kansas City.
