He was survived by his wife, Carlean; 1 daughter, Mary Lou Hanneken of Alton; 2 sons, Roland "Johnny" of Golden Eagle, and Marvin of Alton; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Leona Stumpf of Hardin, Evelyn Fahrig of Alton, and Marie Bergstein of Batchtown; and 2 brothers, Clarence Caselton of Rosewood Heights, Illinois, and John Caselton, Jr. of Batchtown.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by 1 son, Bill Caselton.
Visitation was held after 4 p.m. on 15 Dec 1983 at Hanks Funeral Home in Brussels. A rosary was recited at 6:45 p.m. A funeral Mass was conducted at 9:30 a.m. the following morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brussels.
The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to the charity of one's choice.
Raymond's wife, Carlean, died in 1991.
