Mary Elizabeth Lineberry, 90, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on October 20, 2010.
Mary was born on April 28, 1920 in Anawalt, West Virginia the daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel (Hayes) Brooks. She was united in marriage to R.C. Lineberry in 1938. He preceded her in death in 1995. Mary devoted her life to her family and enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved gardening and in her young days, she was an accomplished seamstress.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother, grandson, Collin Williams, and a great grandchild, Tyler Middendorf.
Mary leaves behind her daughter, Janice L. Williams of the home; son, Clinton T. Lineberry & wife, Marilyn of Westfield, IA; brother, Bob Brooks & wife, Esther of Portsmouth, VA; sister, Billie Saunders of Spotsylvania, VA; grandchildren, Kelly Middendorf, Justin Lineberry, Cole Lineberry, Dakota Samuel, Kodi Lockey, Kim Neher; great-grandchildren, Brad Benny, Bethany Benny, Kolten Middendorf, Shayna Middendorf, Keely Middendorf, Miles Lineberry, Chance Lineberry, Luke Lineberry, Logan Lockey, Jacob Neher, Hannah Neher, Ethan and Jasmine Samuel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, Blue Springs. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm in the chapel, prior to the service. Burial will follow at Buckner-Hill Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to either Odyssey Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
