Ruby Elaine Ally, age 81, of Crown Point, formerly of Hessville passed away on Saturday, October 16 ,2010, due to the progression of Alzheimer's Disease.

She is survived by one son; Daniel (Candace) Ally of Crown Point, 3 daughters; Laura(Howard) Seltzer of Ft. Worth, TX, Gail (Joe) Stahura also of Ft. Worth and Pam Bailey of Gary, IN; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, Brother; Herbert (Herbie) Wohlgemuth, Jr., Sister; Lynda Wohlgemuth both of Dyer. Many nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband; Albert, loving daughter; Kathleen L. Heygi and two grandchildren; Alex and Meagan Hester.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, (Hessville) Hammond with Pastor Hilton Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, Oct. 20th from 2 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ruby was a lifetime resident of the Calumet Area and a longtime member of Terrace Park Church of God. She had retired in 1989 from the Hammond K-Mart store after 10 years of service.

Ruby enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. Ruby was a wonderful mother and loving grandmother and great grandmother and a loyal friend to many. Her family will miss her and forever hold her in their hearts and in their prayers.
