Mrs. Lovaleen Greer, 89, of Pascagoula, MS passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in Pascagoula.
Mrs. Greer was born June 3, 1921 to the late Charlie and Fannie Cumbie in Luverne, AL. She was a homemaker and a 60 year member of Eastlawn United Methodist Church and taught 2nd grade Sunday School for 40 consecutive years. She will be missed greatly.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Byron Greer.
She is survived by one son Scotty Greer and his wife Linda of Lucedale, MS; three grandchildren, Anthony Greer ( Ganda) of Vancleave, MS, Susanne Greer of Lucedale, MS, and Kevin Greer (Nicole) of Lafayette, LA; five great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Ashton, Erin, Anna, Gillian and one brother, Roy Cumbie of Gulfport, MS.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 9-11 am at Eastlawn United Methodist Church with Service at 11:00 with Rev, Gene Vance officiating. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa. Serving as pallbearers are Roland Hysell, Winford Morie, Wayne Savell, Ike Burks
