Laurel - Graveside Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Hebron Cemetery for J.W. Corbin, 47, of Caldwell, Texas, formerly of Laurel, who died Monday in Caldwell.

The Rev. Wade Rogers will officiate.

Mr. Corbin was a native of Oak Grove, La., and was a wireline operator for the Wensa Wireline Company. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Cara Corbin and Melissa Corbin, both of Monroe, La.; his father, Leonard Corbin of Oak Grove, La.; his mother, Mrs. Lessie Marie Dew of Ellisville; his grandmother, Mrs. G.W. Waltman of Laurel; a stepbrother, Raymond Dew of Ellisville; five half brothers, Charlie, Carey, Calvin, Marvin, and Donald Corbin, all of Oak Grove, La.; a sister, Mrs. Evon (Marie) Clark of Laurel; and two half sisters, Mrs. Carol Polk and Sylvia Corbin, both of Oak Grove, La.

Memory Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
